PARTNERSHIPS

Preserve Nevada works in close partnership all across the state to develop strategies for preservation incentives and advocacy. These relationships with universities, historical societies, school districts, and historic preservation organizations provide expertise and outreach opportunities. Graduate students play a vital role within Preserve Nevada for community outreach, revitalization programs and educational initiatives. Preserve Nevada assists in the training of a new generation of preservation professionals; affiliated graduate students work closely with their Board of Directors, meet with National Trust leaders, represent Preserve Nevada at various functions, and work with both state and local governments to resolve planning and development issues. Preserve Nevada allows the opportunity for students to gain access to high-level government and business leaders, providing a level of exposure and invaluable experience for future career paths in preservation.
